List of ordinances that may require services of RPS

The Surveyors Registration Ordinance stipulates that no person shall be registered as a Registered Professional Surveyor (RPS) unless he has had 1 year's relevant professional experience in Hong Kong and he is competent to practise in the relevant division. Local surveying knowledge is very important for RPS to provide their professional services to their employers or clients. RPS are familiar with other ordinances that may require the services of registered professional surveyors for whole or parts of the ordinances. A list of these related ordinances has been prepared for each category of professional surveying services. They are now published on the Surveyors Registration Board website under their respective designated divisions for reference by the general public.
